Day 4 – The Design Process
Students came on campus quite early today and started finishing up their boats by sanding and polishing. They all looked cheerful as we were going to head for the group photo session soon.
After tea and happy pictures we start the day with a new exercise. We had a brief discussion on the design process and were introduced to a new task of designing a light with bamboo. Everyone had to conceptualize from the form to the lighting fixture and eventually culminate all into a product
Later in the day everyone was asked to wind up and finish all their pending products, fix their lights to their shades or forms and ready up the things for the exhibition.
